Six years ago, I was with the head of the Office of Technology Transfer at Caltech. We watched silently as the media replayed the devastation happening in NYC and Washington. After seeing the video, my stunned colleague noted that his parents were in NYC in a building very close to ground zero. Luckily, he found out later that his folks were fine. When I left campus later that morning, I decided to do what I could and made a blood donation to help the victims that day. Today, we need renewed hope and leadership at every level of government. Barack Obama is the hope we need for an ailing nation.
In recognition of the victims of 9-11 and to honor them, please take some time to help others in your community today.
