John McCain On Computers and Email : "I just never really felt a need to do it. "

McCain agrees with the 'out of touch ad.'

Senator Obama need not change the 'John McCain is out of touch because he doesn't use computers or the internet' ad or copy one note or punctuation mark, nor need anyone back down from or question just how valid it is.

McCain, to reiterate, agrees with the statement made in the ad.

Right wing bloggers at Hot Air, Town Hall and others claim is McCain cannot type or use his hands to do such things as email on a keyboard. They are trying to embarrass Senator Obama and our campaign by saying we are disrespecting McCain, his age, his disabilities, his background.

This is not true and I can prove it.

What they have proven about themselves, though, is that they are not very internet savvy. In just a few moments, I was able to find the information that proves the Obama ad is very much correct and need not be changed or pulled from circulation.

These are important facts to know and spread. Politico's Ben Smith actually put up a post called "McCain's Hands" which he changed after I alerted him to the fact that his magazine's (yes, it's a real publication) own Mike Allen interviewed John McCain in July and that is the interview that cuts off the 'we're making fun of an old disabled guy' jokes.

John McCain can use devices to access the web. He simply doesn't, and does not want to. Like counting Cindy's houses...someone else can do that.

There are even keyboards for accessible people's needs that do not even require touching a keyboard that he would have had if it was that bad. Let's face it, there is a computer in his office.

If the only reason McCain is not using an accessible product is that his staff didn't do a Google search, it shows lack of judgement in being surrounded by the wrong people. The wrong people who do not know how to help McCain do his job of serving the people.

But all those lobbyists are too selfish to really want to help John McCain the man.

It's not John McCain those lobbyists are looking out for at all.
