East Stroudsburg
We got a chance to see another beautiful campus in the PA State System of Colleges and Universities. Governor Rendell appeared before a tremendous crowd, which John Spears and crew did a bang-up job putting together. Many thanks to State Rep. Siptroth and US Rep. Kanjorski for helping us set up and speak at this event.

I had a chance to meet Sadie Bostick. She was a fascinating person. She reminds me of so many reasons why this campaign and ticket are so important to the future of this great country. Sally talked about her fears concerning the downturn in the economy and the rise in predatory lending throughout the state and the country. She said her prayers are with us, and I really appreciate her energy--it was a real boost.

Bethlehem
We had a tremendous stop in Bethlehem. It is always good to see Mayor Callahan. Bethlehem is truly one of the hidden gems in Eastern PA.

I must confess that all the babies and children in Halloween costumes were adorable. I may never forget the little tomato walking around the Governor's feet during his speech. It was a great way to cap off the day.

I also take it as a promising sign that so many kids and adults were dressed up as Sen. Obama. Pardon the pun, but that was a real treat.

Many thanks for all the kind wishes and great candy from the folks in Bethlehem. Fun Dip and Pop Rocks are tremendous and will never go out of style.

We hope to see you at our stops today, in Pottstown, Coatesville, Prospect Park, and Norristown.
