"NC For Obama" group posted an email to their listserv asking for comments about the interview. here is what I wrote:

Bill Moyers conducted a wonderful, thoughtful and intelligent interview.

The interview was very moving. I am very impressed with the love and compassion Rev Wright exudes. I feel deep sadness for him and TUCC for the media scrutiny they have gone through and the horrible things that have been said and written about them.

Rev Wright is an extremely intelligent and well-spoken man. For the first time I felt I really understand the black liberation theology and what is/was preached in that church.

There were times during the interview that I had tears in my eyes. I wanted to apologize to him for the wrongs that have been done and the way the media has so grossly distorted the messages of the church.

When the interview was over, I was lying on the sofa with a cat on my chest, and not wanting to disturb her I grabbed the remote and switched to CNN to see who Larry King had on. Then AC 360 came on, with the guy who does all the number and map crunching on debate nights (cannot remember his name, AC was not on). The immediate headline was something like - more trouble for Senator Obama from Rev Wright, and then they launched into 10 second clips of parts of the interview with a backdrop of dialogue that the Wright issue would dog him forever. I gave him about 60 seconds and hit the "off" button on the remote.

It is a shame what the media will do with that wonderful interview. They either just do not care to tell the truth, or they cannot see the truth. American "journalism and media" make me sick to my stomach.

For those who saw the interview, PLEASE do yourself a HUGE favor and do not listen to or read a single msm "analysis" of the interview.
