While I'm voting for Obama no matter what - I am a little concerned with all the faith based ploys to lure the religious right. It tells them that the policies that they seek are good ones and that CHANGE is a figment of our imagination and it gives them POWER, and they've had enough of that for the past 8 years. The religious right in my opinion has done a lot of harm to this country. Including anger against women, New Orleans (the whole god was mad and gave them a hurricane thing), gays, etc. They are quite BACKWARDS in their belief system in my eyes. I think faith, religion and race and gender need to stay out of politics completely and we need to base our intelligent decisions upon what each particular candidate is going to DO. I fear that continuing this dialog will inevitably lose a majority of progressive voters who will decide to cast their vote for Nader, goddess forbid!

We are not the only people who think this. It seems that he's moving more to the right now that the primary season has come to a close. Not a great way to keep everyone excited about the campaign. We wanted his CHANGE. This is just more of the same. And I agree that who ever is advising him really needs a good slap in the head. Advisors are nothing but pundits anyway - the same talking heads we see on the television. Obama needs to read these blogs. WE THE PEOPLE can advise him way better!
