Does anyone know if the expansion of executive powers and the lack of congressional oversight is a part of Barack's agenda? I personally feel it is the most important issue we face as a democracy.Whithout the proper checks and balances within our system the longterm consequences to our freedoms are enormous.Congress needs to begin impeachment proceedings for both Bush and Cheney.

His program here has not been as explicit as it could be.

But his willingness to answer hypotheticals is a very good sign.
