It's official.... Obama Supporters with a Margarita has been approved and is now up as a grassroots group on My BO at http://my.barackobama.com/page/group/ObamaSupporterswithaMargarita.

So let me stick my head out of the trenches of democracy for a moment to welcome all of our new members. Of course, to our long standing members I lift my perpetual glass in your direction (and a special shout out to Texas, because the supporters and the margaritas there are just so good).

We will be posting new events to the group soon, but in the meantime please feel free to share your ideas and experiences with the group on our blog. I am learning as much as I can, as fast as I can so that we are best equipped to bring about the change we seek and HAPPILY usher in an Obama presidency.

Hi All,

Just a note, the Women for Obama breakfast is open to both men and women to attend. Also, I just got word that Senator Clinton will be in attendance as well. With the two of them in attendance and the low dollar amount, it is bound to sell out, so if you want to go, I would get your tickets post haste.
