Green Jobs and Ultimate Pragmatism

One would think that hyper-financing of safe energy independence programs, that would immediately create jobs enough to convince the American people (and their global neighbors,) that our style of political freedom can coexist with guaranteed full employment (and its pragmatic power to end poverty and economic paralysis), was the magic economic bullet that our president and the rest of our greatest scholars claim does not exist.

Yes, we remain on the brink of nuclear proliferation, which promises the end of all life on earth, -- and people of every persuasion claim the answer to this possibility is either a preventive attack on Iran, or proof to the world's street people that their need for jobs and income will be met, if they support the American President and his rational pragmatic approach to a globally stressed political economy which can be changed in due course to be better over a very long foreseeable future.

You, dear reader, and I, know that crises come out of nowhere -- and are never expected when they should have been. Money to pay for rational energy independence and to prevent a man-made climate disaster, can be created by a Bernanke - Obama partnership for as long as related prices for all we produce and need remain affordable. The money can be created to match the jobs and the need at hand to bring trust of democracy to the streets of earth that threaten to explode if men are idle and desperately deprived.

With such create money, green jobs flow, pragmatism is successful, nuclear proliferation is indefinitely delayed, and our President's agenda is off and running: health care and education programs follow. A clear path to urgently needed change is established.

But, without the money referred to above, and without the Obama - Bernanke functional financing scheme, we are left with appeals by the DNC for small change from people who get their mail and by word from this Organizing for America site.
