The Volunteer Party was a Huge Success!!

The evening was lovely, the venue hospitable, the food plentiful, and the music absolutely delightful...
And, MOST IMPORTANTLY, volunteers came from all areas of our community and were United for Change.

A big Thank You to everyone who worked to make this great night a reality!

Action Alerts:

1. First Friday- We will be registering voters at Tito's Restaurant and the Blue Star in Southtown.
Please contact Jen Romo to sign-up. (jenromo@msn.com)

Details for volunteers-
Friday, July 4 6:30 pm Meet at alamObama office to carpool to registration sites.
You do not need to be a Deputy Voter Registrar to help with this event.
Dress- Either our special Voter Registration T-shirt or regular clothes. No Obama gear.

2. Gay Pride Parade- We need about 25 more volunteers to reach our goal of 50 marchers.
Please contact Judy Hall (profjh@hotmail.com) to sign-up.

Saturday, July 5 7:00 pm Meet at alamObama office to carpool to parade site.
Dress- Comfortable shoes and Obama gear.
Unity Choir Update:

Daniel Salone, the choir director, has found an accompanist and is in the process of making patriot musical selections.
If you have signed-up for the Choir, you will be contacted about rehearsals very soon.
For those interested in joining the Choir, please contact Daniel for details (379-7400 jds351@sbcglobal.net).

Merchandise Update:

New bumper stickers, buttons and t-shirts are currently available at the alamObama Office. Please check office hours before heading downtown to see us!
