Yesterday I was lucky enough to be a part of the opening of the Fresno Obama '08 office, to hear Robert F. Kennedy Jr. speak at the UFW conference (and shake his hand) and to do things for the first time to help the campaign. It was a long day, but one of the most exciting ones of my life. I took some photos and have hunted up links to news reports for those who were unable to come or who were, but wish to remember the day.

There are
two
new
articles from the Fresno Bee.
And you can download his speech
here
, as well as see some other photographs.

I thought the home-made sign was adorable.

During the speech. It was so exciting to see all the Obama posters we passed out being waved!

Back at the office for the offical ribbon cutting:

Myself, in front of the sign I painted that Kennedy sat in front of *G*
