Dear President Obama,
The time has come for the new renaissance of our great Republic. Too long now have we citizens lost our way and our purpose. Inherently our most precious gift of citizenship places upon us, each and every one of us, our greatest responsibility. That responsibility is to be a true patriot, in every way and walk of life, for our Republic and its ideals of hope towards an always-brighter future. This aspiration to always push ourselves to be the better champion for progress has always been the sacred fire in our hearts that has lifted us up into becoming the great nation that we are today. We must all relearn how to become once again Citizen-Patriots, and our hearts and minds must be filled with guidance from the wise words of our sacred documents of governance.....our Declaration of Independence and our Constitution. We must once again teach ourselves and our children, the importance of these documents to preserving our God-given right to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. These words and teachings will once again inspire our Nation to aspire to even greater heights for our people and our planet. We ARE a people that have taken on the raiment of responsibility and stewardship of all the peoples of the earth. Responsibility NOT to rule or oppress with despotism but a responsibility to be good stewards and friends to our fellow nations, and to teach them through our example how to cultivate and cherish the God-given equal right of ALL peoples…. to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. Let the words of President George Washington ring true in our ears as we remember them…….”It should be the highest ambition of EVERY American to extend his views beyond himself, and to bear in mind that his conduct will not only affect himself, his country, and his immediate posterity; but that its influence may be co-extensive with the world, and stamp political happiness or misery on ages yet unborn.” Our founding fathers risked their lives and committed treason in order to create our more perfect Union. Their sacrifices are the heart of our responsibilities and are the fuel that fires the forges of Liberty, Truth, and Justice within each and every one of us. We, as Citizens of these United States of America are born into a sacred trust to uphold OUR responsibility to forever preserve Freedom and Liberty for ALL the world and always be a Country.....of the people, by the people, and for the people.
I feel for the first time in many years hope again for our great nation. I feel that YOU, Mr. President, will rekindle that sacred fire of Liberty and a common responsibility for our Nation’s prosperity. Alone and individually we citizens are but stones cast upon the ground and provide naught but trip hazards to every step towards greatness. However, TOGETHER, we have been and will become again a monument for Freedom to all the world. A monument representing wisdom, justice, truth, and honor, bound together with Brotherly Love. The cornerstone of our Republic is our collective struggle for greatness and each and every citizen of this great United States of America is the true keystone to our success.
