Oddly, Obama seems to be getting somewhat of a pass by the national media in terms of the attacks that Hillary is casting his way. This past week, we have seen two substantive attacks levied at Barack that does not seem to be getting any air time. Granted, the Republicans helped him out by dominating the media with thier boob tube debate.
The two issues were:
1. Healthcare: Obama's attacks on Hillary's healthcare plan have largely turned into an attack on whether Obama is covering everyone and the lack of a mandate for adults. Now Paul Krugman definitely had a strong hit piece on this, but beyond that, the media hasn't really picked up on it.
2. HopeFund PAC: The turn about this week by Obama's campaign telling the media that the campaign did advise the PAC on who to give campaign contributions was pretty important if you listen to Hillary. The thing is, it seems like noone is listening to Hillary these days.
It will be interesting to see how hard he gets hit on these two issues in the next debate and what kind of response he has prepared.
