The Road to Change [Day 1]: Cedar Falls Event

In Cedar Falls, Iowa, on Wed Aug 15th, Barack spoke about government transparency, and took questions from event attendees. The questions ranged from healthcare, veterans issues, and jobs going overseas, to the military industrial complex. But the last question he took was about all the promises that are made by politicians and all the things that are still not as good as they could be: "What is really going to change?"

Here's part of Barack's response:

I can't guarantee you that if I'm elected president your children will suddenly have good manners...But what I can guarantee is that I'll wake up every morning thinking about how we can make the lives of our children and our grandchildren better. It's not gonna be perfect-but we can make improvements....If we're working together there's no reason that we can't do a whole lot better than we've been doing.
