In Council Bluffs, Iowa, on Thursday, August 16, Barack Obama addressed a large crowd about foreign policy. Barack reminded the audience that he opposed the war in Iraq from the start, and detailed his comprehensive strategy to fight terrorism. He spoke about his plan to close Guantanamo and restore habeus corpus, because that’s not who we are as Americans. He also plans on fully implementing the 9/11 Commission recommendations to ensure that we are not shortchanging homeland security all across the country.
