As a general rule I try never to get personal in my responses here but this time I am compelled to make an exception considering HOW MANY MILLIONS OF AMERICAN FAMILIES ARE ON THE LINE... NOT TO MENTION A LOOMING NATIONAL AND GLOBAL ECONOMIC DEPRESSION.

"Josh and Kade"...I suggest you research the history of how and why unions got started in this country to begin with.

Women and children shot down in cold blood by corporately owned goon squads for daring to protest HORRIFIC working conditions.

Once you've absorbed that, if you still hold the same opinions as expressed in your ignorant post... you need some serious help.

The unions have stated REPEATEDLY that they are ready willing and able to make concessions regarding everything from pay to pensions.

Not to mention... that once Obama and Congress deliver on universal healthcare reforms... a big fat chunk of the financial solvency problems will be taken care of.

For example... by simply mandating that all health insurers go to a single computerized claims protocol... fully 40% of healthcare costs will be reduced.

But hey... if giving even MORE power to the same corporate barons who have raped the working class since the industrial revolution is your thing... then might I suggest you join up with that dying dinosaur of a political party across the street since you're already supporting them anyway with your union-busting tripe.

At this critical point in American History... the ignorance you display in your comments is worse than just ill-informed, it's downright dangerous.

Your so-called 'independent contractors' 'negotiating' with corporate owners would truly be laughable if it wasn't so completely inane and destructive to workers rights.

History has proven that collective bargaining ALONE is the only way to get corporate power to the table in the first place, let alone achieve reasonable living wages and benefits.

Try peddling your union-busting snake oil somewhere else.

WE"RE NOT BUYING.
