The Obama for America campaign is looking for lawyers and law students to volunteer with our Promote the Vote program. Election law experience is not required, but a commitment to protecting the voting rights of Indiana citizens is a must.
To be a volunteer election monitor, we ask that you commit to spending Tuesday, May 6th assisting all eligible voters in casting their votes. In addition to helping voters, you will be the campaigns eyes and ears on the ground, reporting any problems that need to be resolved at the precinct, township, county or state level. We will provide training materials to assist you, and ask that you attend a training session in the weeks just prior to the election, specific dates and times TBD.
