A Lion is dead

He was a Nation's Uncle

A white roaring mane

Fighting till his death

For the true fight of his life

Living in all hearts

He was always there

Massachusetts Senator

On social issues

A smile on the face

A leader between his peers

A man of wisdom

Sure he was famous

But for us he was much more

A kind Teddy bear

He chose a young man

Black tall skinny funny named

For his President

And he will remains

"Sir" Edward Moore Kennedy

Just Uncle Teddy

Thanks for this tremendous memorial to our dear friend, Senator Kennedy. As the president said in his eulogy. it would have been easy for Teddy to slip back into the shadows after all the sorrows he survived. But he stayed and he worked hard to make a little better the lives of those without money or famous names and for that he deserves our honor and respect. Our world is a little better place for his efforts.

Thanks again for this touching tribute.
