Mark Hamill's first opportunity to vote for President came in 1972 and he got involved with George McGovern, a candidate and a campaign that he believed in. "Here was a guy who felt exactly the way I felt about the war." Thirty six years later, with another war keeping our soldiers abroad and an economy in trouble, he's found another candidate that he believes in: Barack Obama. Mark, of course, is best known for his portrayal of Luke Skywalker in the original Star Wars Trilogy. Recalling a conversation he had with director George Lucas over the title of the original Star Wars film "A New Hope" he brought up the analogy that Luke was, "the new hope in the fantasy world and Barack is the new hope in the real world."Here's a clip of Mark speaking to students at Point Park University in downtown Pittsburgh:
