We are a host of several Obama meetings in the post election period. The prospect that racial and ethnic diversity, driven only by tireless performance and dedication and commitment to the Hope of Obama will translate in to a show down of "turf battles" and disruptive behaviors from people who have alternate agendas is a very sad and disheartening moment. It washes away the magic of the Obama victory.
Using the ruse of 'this is not pure Obama' any pro active community effort is getting shot down by many of the same forces which have brought substantial recalcitrance and relative poverty and corruption in small town America.
Can the social networking tools that this site has rally people around the country to show solidarity for the hope of Obama for all, regardless of their racial, ethnic and socio economic status?
