You've all probably seen the latest news from the Obama campaign that we're trying to beat the June deadline to post some great fundraising numbers. And, like all of you, I wanted to lend a helping hand.

To that end, my wife and I have decided to match the first $200 donated today through our fundraising page at http://my.barackobama.com/page/outreach/view/main/SmyrnaVinings. Hopefully we'll get past that $200, but for at least those donations, they'll get doubled on their way in to the campaign.

So, for all of you who have thought that whatever small amount you might give wouldn't matter, please take advantage of this offer and know that your $5 just became $10 or your $10 became $20, etc., and be proud that you helped MAKE IT HAPPEN.

Well, I can't stop it. ;)

But, I can tell you that I've already made my opinion -- seemingly like yours -- known to the Obama campaign and all my federal elected officials.

Everything I've heard from Barack is that he is opposed to the latest version, so let's see what he does/says as the Senate takes it up.
