THE STORY..in case you missed it...
We had a backyard house party for Obama on July 28. We grabbed some more great volunteers..who proceeded to register over 50 voters the next weekend at a local festival. But also, we asked a local ( gold medal )vintner @ our party to create an obama label...and he said " I could do that "...and we played around w/ ideas for labels..never thinking he would actually do it. The next week there was a $100 plate fundraiser for Kathleen Sebelius here in Michigan and we were invited to go for free (since we had hosted an Obama house party :-) ..there were 250 - 300 people there in a truly republican town! AND..there was a case of 'O' BAMA label bubbley! He actually did it! The label is beautiful..fun and celebratory...he's selling it locally and on his website..and donating $1 from the sale of ea. bottle to the O campaign. I'm buying a case for the Inauguration... :-) It's amazing what can come out of a house party. if anyone wants to order some of this for toasting in Denver.. or November you can go to my blog post to get info on ordering. As soon as I get mine I'll post a photo of the label ( which is ' O ' with small BAMA letters next to the 'O'
