I have been working tirelessly as an Obama volunteer alongside hundreds of others here in Georgia for about a year. We have registered hundreds of thousands of new voters for Barack, made thousands of phone calls and knocked on countless doors. This past Saturday was a sort of trial run for GOTV on election day. I was impressed at the number of volunteers that came out to canvass neighborhoods and urge all supporters to vote early. We had a great time talking to folks about Barack and the need to vote early for him. I was equally impressed by the knowlege, skills, kindness, diversity, enthusiasm of the Obama volunteers. We ought to be proud of ourselves and each other. We ought to thank Barack for instilling in us civic pride and the sense of duty to our nation of the like we may not have had before. And I am letting it be known that what I experienced will be enough to turn Georgia blue on Nov. 4th.
