We had a great time last night, and a light rain didn't stop a committed group of Williamsburg County residents from coming out to Kingstree, SC to discuss the role of faith in our politics!
Healthcare was an issue at the forefront of our minds as well as the need to strengthen our school systems. Several seniors in the room spoke of their desire to see more mentoring of their grandchildren so that run-ins with the criminal justice system are avoided. In the end, our conversation touched on the moral elements of the many policy issues we face as a nation.
Finally, the inaugural (and smallest) member of Ninjas for Obama blessed us with his presence!
Next stop: Dillon, SC on Thursday. Stay tuned!
-Joshua

Mr. Obama,
I am a resident of the state of Georgia, every day as I watch the news (local/national)a crime is committed by the use of a GUN. As President of the U.S.A. How will you deal with this problem? How will you deal with the NRA? It seems as if presidential candidates are afraid to speak out or make guns an issue because of fear of the NRA. We have military people dying for nothing in Iraq, but here at home we have a war on our streets where many of our youths are dying for nothing and no one is saying or doing anything about it. We want the war to end in Iraq, but more so; stop the killing in the street here at home. Please address this GUN issue.
Thanks Ninjas' for Obama |

Nice to see how Senator Obama motivates the young people. Thank you to all those who are working so hard to elect Senator Obama as our next president

Joshua DuBois,
Why stop at McClurkin?
Have a REALLY BIG TENT, invite bernice King, Alan keyes, and Fred Phelps to shake some tamborines at your South Carolina gospel Hate-fest.
South Carolina EQUALITY,
Light a candle for me...another EX Obama supporter who is openly queer.
