My son was 18 months old when he climbed out of his bedroom window almost 8 years ago. Because we didn't get along with our neighbors, they decided to call the cops on me instead of telling me that he had escaped. Because of that, I have a class D felony child neglect charge on my record. That means I can't even get a job at the grocery store across the street because they do background checks. Indiana has NO expungement procedure. Some felons can petiton the state police to lock their record after 20 years, but that's it. Not all felons are the evil people the media makes people think they are!

Ifeel your frustration whereas I to carry the mantel of a felony conviction. You must press on and in Gods time a reprieve will come. I have pending befor Gov. Strickland of Ohio a pardon application with a favorable recomendation from the department of corrections that only need his signatur to remove the impase you are experienceing form my life and the doing of good works. Perhapse with the delivery of Ohio to the democrates and Obama winning the Presidency, the democratic governor of Ohio will grant my pardon application.
