Virginia Tech
Today’s second anniversary of the tragic shooting at Virginia Tech is another sobering reminder to all Virginians for a long overdue change of leadership in the Virginia General Assembly.
As our thoughts and prayers go out to the victims, their families and the Virginia Tech community, I will be working hard for new proposals to effect more protection of Virginia's citizens through stricter gun control laws. As a surgeon who has witnessed on numerous occasions the lethal effects of gun violence firsthand in the emergency room, I will be working wholeheartedly to help protect Virginians from falling victim to such senseless violence again.
As an elected Delegate, I will be a determined advocate for progressive gun laws that prevent such a tragedy from ever happening again to our commonwealth.
