Yesterday, on the 5th anniversary of "mission accomplished" many U.S. citizens expressed their frustrations at a government that continues to flaunt its authority in direct opposition to a now majority democrat Congress and the Constitution. Some were arrested. Of course, any U.S. Congress that refuses to support its own Constitutional authority by not funding the war, does not deserve sympathy. In many other Western countries, this would be enough for people to take to the streets and demand the removal of a government that is neither for the people or of the people.
Each time, this president takes the podium, he speaks to us as if we are idiots, more lies spilling from his vegetable brain. Yet, it's the American people who are the most tragic. Armed with its inherent constitutional rights, our citizens lack the will to protect them, making them both meaningless and empty, eventually to be lost just as we see happening nightly to other peoples-- in Darfur, in Tibet, in China--as fascism continues to stake out a greater geographical footprint than it had during WWII.
How do we stop this madness? When the American people act demonstratively and not just at the ballot box. When we hear millions of U.S. citizens demanding the trial of these leaders under the Nuremburg statutes. Well, I'm like the Rev. Wright, I will not be holding my breathe, because cowardice is endemic in the "white" American psyche. Each evening Keith Olbermann is like the lone wolf howling in the proverbial wind. We watch, but do not take action. He cannot call for action on national television. His name is not Pat Robertson who can without retribution call for the assassination of a leader in a foreign country. We own the world, remember.
But, media hosts and even a U.S. Congressman can incite with their rhetoric for the express purpose of creating a climate for the assassination of a U.S. senator, who we know and support, Senator Barack Obama. This is a crime, but the FBI does not show up at their door to arrest them. No, the FBI is too busy playing rogue cop overseas looking for terrorists. Well, gentlemen, you can come home, because they be your own. How many Congressmen gather on the steps of their respective houses to call upon the American people to come to Washington by the millions and stop the machinations of this rogue government immediately? None.
This is the second generation in which I have lived that a group of leaders decided that no matter what was good for the nation, if it was not good for them, they would neither protect, defend, fund, nor enact. They have murdered and plundered other peoples and nations shamelessly and its citizens continue to believe that the USA is not a sponsor and active participant in state terrorism. There has been no other entity in the history of nationalism to have slaughtered human beings in such great numbers as has the United States of America.
No matter how one attempts to frame it, the killing of 1.2 million Iraqis and countless by-standers represents "crimes against humanity." And failure to imprison the criminals who launched this illegal invasion, both in the White House and Congress, for their crimes makes every American culpable for the predacious and murderous behavior authorized by the few. Put whip cream on it, wrap it with a million made-in-China flags and the stench of what Americans will accept on behalf of their leaders is graphically known to the world.
Pope Bendict XVI on Sunday called upon the end of the slaughter in Iraq. However, there are not two sides in this criminal war, most honorable Pope, there is only one side, who like the Clinton's, will do and say anything. Moreover, they are using taxpayer money to bribe all other participants (the Sunnis, the Kurds, and the Shia, and anybody else) to stop killing one another until the Democrats regain the White House, just so the Republicans and their scavengers can say that they did not lose the war, that the Democrats did. This is their thinking, intractable and moronic, and so 2nd grade.
Memo to the criminals: Honor and victory were lost when you knuckleheads decided to launch a preemptive war by lying to the American people and "fixing" the evidence to do so. Despite this mountain of lies and deceit, only one other faith-based idiot, the prime minister of England, Tony Blair, who will soon be at Yale--surprise--the alma mater of both Bill Clinton and George Bush, came to your aid; no other major western nation bought into these lies. And, Blair will likely receive political asylum from the commander-of-woe as the evidence keeps coming forward despite the best efforts of the current PM, Gordon Brown, to put a lid on it.
Which brings us full circle to the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Jr., a soldier who served his nation faithfully, had the courage to call a dog a dog from his pulpit as any good believer in the Phophetic Gospel of Jesus Christ would, and like Jesus the Prophet, to whom Rev. Wright has sworn allegiance, he, too, in the coming weeks and months will be crucified by the wicked and Americans will get on board like sheep to throw their stones just like they did in support of this state-sponsored terrorism in Iraq, for that is what murderous political elites do to those who place the spotlight on their crimes. Only by unifying against them can we, the people, gain repentance and reconciliation with humanity.
Do other Americans have the courage of Rev. Wright? A few. The democratic candidates talk about "best case" and redeploying the troops in the region to fight the mythical war on terror as if this strategy is based upon fact and is not what it is and has been since the end of WWII, a strategy to maintain hegemony over the oil fields and the peoples of the Middle East; just like our current policy to establish a military dictatorship over the African continent for the same purpose, a continent where more al-Quedas will be created in the near future. Even Bill Gates is on board with this plan. Not to stop a genocide in Sudan that has been going on for 10 years now, brought about by a peace process headed by the United States that led almost immediately afterward to the assassination of a heroic rebel leader in a plane crash over Uganda.
Buy in now and you are in for a pound, Senator, just like John Kennedy, who was roped into Vietnam. The U.S. government and its people are the foremost international terrorists in this world today and to build an administration on the foundation of immoral and failed policies and lies can only mean a continuation of the same. My recommendation to Senator Obama: lead, do not follow. We have too many sheep in the house now. Political leadership, now that's an innovative idea, and you do not have to be in the White House to do that, my fellow Americans.
