This Wednesday, the Alaska Campaign for Change will be opening a second office in Anchorage!

The new office will be located downtown at 1015 W. 7th Avenue -- a great location for stopping by at lunch or after work.

Please join the Campaign for Change for their Official Downtown Anchorage Office Opening this Wednesday, August 13th at 12:00 pm. There will be an opportunity to check out the new space, meet fellow volunteers and learn how you can get involved with the campaign here in Alaska.

I'm in Texas which is in an uphill battle for Sen. Obama also but it's a fight worth waging. Good luck in Alaska.

You guys up north are just awesome. It warms my heart to see the enthusiasm the O volunteers exude. As an AA that will be celebrating his 64th birthday soon, I never thought I'd see the day that AK would be a competitive state for democrats. I came to this blog after seeing one of the pollster sites listing you as a toss-up state. I live here in GA and we are also hopeful for a victory here but it's going to be a tremendous uphill climb. Living here in suburban Atlanta, it sometimes seems awfully discouraging to drive through the neighborhoods and see all the support that the republicans enjoy here. Yes, I get discouraged but have decided I must do my part to spread Senator Obama's message of hope and change. Bottom line for me is that if we win by ganering one vote at a time. In spite of the odds against us here in this state, your enthusiasm inspires me to keep working.

Please provide posts on a frequent basis so that we here in the lower forty-eight can keep up with what's going on in AK.
