I can not beleive what I justed heard.Obama saying that he might refine his plans to move troops out of Iraq in 16 months. Why now the change? He is hurting his self by saying this. Many people voted for him because he was going to stop the Iraq war. What is up? This is going to hurt him now. people who want out of Iraq are now wondering what he is really going to do.

He has NOT changed his position. He has ALWAYS said he would be as careful getting out as Bush was careless going in.

He has not wavered. Redefine does NOT equal changing his position. He is simply stating that his plan is still 16 months and that he will give the commanders the mission to withdraw all of our combat troops. As those troops are being pulled out there may be a need to change the strategy to get the troops out or revisit how to do it, then he will do it. Remember the ENTIRE objective is to get them out as safe and responsible as possible. But the MISSION has NOT changed.

You've had more than 24 hours to hear that he came back and had ANOTHER press conference, and said he ISN'T changing his Iraq position. Are you pretending not to know this???

Say yes, cause its better than the alternative.

Some people make my head explode.

I'm sure you'll say I'm being rude, but I've lost patience, and I don't feel like apologizing unfortunately. Watch tv, read the papers, read yahoo!news. So many sources for goodness sake!

SORRY! BUT I WAS GOING BY YAHOO NEWS! When I wrote what I wrote. SO DO NOT GO AND FLAME ME. I WAS GOING BY WHAT HE SAID ON THE NEWS AND ON CNN. SO maybe you need to read up on it!!!
