I got to see Barack Obama in East Los Angeles today.
Here are LOTS of pictures to show all that went on.
Here are some of the volunteers signing everyone in.
I found someone in the my shirt! Had to get a picture.
Since it was a town hall meeting there weren't that many people at the event, we (Lonnee and I) got great seats right by his entrance. We didn't realize it until he walked in. And SHOOCK OUR HANDS. I shook the hand of the next President of the United States!
We were all pretty giddy after the handshake. And then everyone took pictures and texted them off. My seat neighbours to my right (a mother/daughter I think)
and Lonnlee to my left
this is how close we were
and with my lense zoomed
There was a sign interpreter for all the talks
He answered questions for 1/2 an hour.
some students were having a real great time, chanting.
