I have been on this website for months but very once in awhile I will say something that is unpopular and immediately I am branded a troll. They don't take into account the fact that I put together a rally for Obama, travelled and canvassed for Obama, donated money to the campaign despite my husband's objections of "we will be living on the street soon". I have argued with family (some even stopped talking to me) and I have had people randomly yell at me on the street for wearing an Obama button.
All this while working nights, going to grad school full time and a part time internship.
When I joined MyBo it was a space to freely exchange ideas and argue about different points of view. I felt as though I belonged to something bigger than myself. Sadly, I don't feel that way anymore. I come on here to get the latest Obama news but it has become a hostile environment.
What happened to free speech? I understand that emotions run high with all the garbage that McCain and his camp will throw at Obama but geez why attack someone before we know where they are coming from.
The self appointed Blog police are equally as ridiculous. If you come on and ask a question it is disregarded and automatically branded TROLL.
Uggg, I need a break from all this. I am gonna take the week off.
