Finally an event in Bridgeport that I could connect with. Yesterday was a perfect day to head to one of the large chain food superstores for a couple of hours of Registration. Turned out that I registered 10 new voters, and two with an address change. I figure that wasn't bad, because I was stuck in one place all of the time. Seem to Register more voters when I am working the crowd.
Thursday evening I'll be at an event with Jim Himes who is running for the House of Representatives in the 4th District. It looks like he has a really good chance to get Shays out of office. Can't wait to step into Mt. Aerie Baptist Church and share with the citizens of Bridgeport the moment we have all been waiting for....Senator Obama's acceptance speech for President of the United States.....a new direction for this country, by the man that will accomplish it
