I have emailed the Obama camp about three times now inquiring about First Americans Obama gear. They have not answered but since then they have added "Republicans for Obama" gear. I received an email today saying if your Native in a swing state then Obama needs you to get the vote out. It would be nice to have gear to promote First Americans to gtvo. It appears First Americans are always last.

No, I think the best thing for the Obama camp to do is make the gear. Why should the First Americans make do with something else? I am a Native that lives in Indiana and this state is in play. There are 39,000 (more than one race) identified in this state. For once our population matters.

Hang in there Debra- I think it may be hard for the campaign to commit to one design for all Native Americans/First Americans/American Indians/etc. as there are numerous tribes w/in the US. I've ordered some "Cherokees for Obama" buttons from democraticstuff.com (You can customize). They're cheaper if you buy in bulk.
Keep the faith!

Nope, like I said in the reply before this one. The Obama camp should provide the gear for us to buy. We should not have to customize, the campaign should have enough knowledge to make the gear. They made Republican gear, why not Native gear? Thanks for the idea though.
