Estimados hermanos latinos. En la eleccion nacional que viene, tenemos la oportunidad de votar por un hijo de un imigrante; el senador Barack Obama. Como mucho del pueblo latino, el tambien es de sangre mixta como nosotros los mestizos. Desde el principio, el senador Obama a apoyado reforma en las leyes que pertenecen a la imigracion cual reforma incluye camino a el ciudananismo. Ademas, el apoya a los trabajadores para rebajar sus impuestos y desarrollar un ambiente mas justo para ellos y la gente pobre. Pero para realizar su eleccion, es necesario que cada uno de nosotros votan por el. Debemos de registrarnos como votadores y votar sin falta. Sin movernos de esta forma, no tenemos el derecho ni de quejarnos ni de esperar que nuestra situacion se mejora. Igual debemos de animar que otros hagan lo mismo.
Esteemed Latino brothers (also means sisters). In the upcoming national election, we have an opportunity to vote for the son of an immigrant; Senator Barack Obama. Like much of the Latino community, he is also of mixed race, like we Mestizos. Since the beginning, Senator Obama has supported immigration reform including a path to eventual citizenship. Also, he supports those who work and to reduce their taxes and to create an atmosphere of fairness to them and to the poor. But to make his election a reality, it is necessary that each one of us vote for him. To do so, we must register to vote and not fail to vote. If we don't do this, we have no room to complain nor expect our situations to improve. In the same way, we should encourage others to do the same.
