I want desperately to only write one post per day, but this recent rightwing attack on Barack Obama's saying that it would be a great thing for all American kids to learn at least one foreign language just could not wait.... I completely and firmly agree to that. In fact, I'd go as far as to say that a third foreign language should at least be taught at a basic level!

On the left, you have blogs that agree and on the right, you have several that only demand more ignorance out of our children.....
I often wonder how the rightwing mind works.... fear? purposeful ignorance? they like to be led by their noses? It boggles the mind how these people survive on a daily basis, so with that said....
