Hello all,
Are you all aware of a new way to raise money for Barack Obama? Nearly 30 women across this country have collaborated to create a stunning, large (king-sized) heirloom to commemorate this election and our candidate. TURNING AMERICA BLUE 2008 quilt is made of 56 blocks done by 28 different women...blocks that represent our mission to get Barack elected, block by US block!! The blocks are also representative of the 50 states, 3 territories, Americans Abroad and Washington DC and they are centered around an incredible block of Barack's silhouette done in cross stitches so tiny, you can hardly see them!
We are actually going to give this quilt away! and to enter the drawing one can donate to the campaign or write a story about the meaning of the quilt. Our dream is to take this quilt to the convention and possibly have Senator Obama sign it, thereby, making it really priceless and a collector's item worthy of a future Presidential Library!
