We just emailed G. Shay of the Rules Committee. He is a Clinton backer who favored 50/50 as per his return email to us when we wrote to all the members prior to the meeting. We asked him if he wasn't appalled by H. Ickes ending statements, Clinton campaign's response to the unity compromise and wouldn't he like to now back Barack Obama's campaign. Do we have the email addresses of all the members of the Committee? Although some mailboxes were full and some addresses not accurate before...it might be worth our while to support the members who were willing to compromise and ask them to consider supporting Obama. They should be sick of the grandstanding of Ickes and disappointed in Clinton by now!
