U.S. President Barack Obama Wins Nobel Peace Prize

Barack Obama has been very outspoken against nuclear proliferation.

In less than a year in office, 37 weeks, U.S. President Barack Obama wins the Nobel Peace Prize.

During his election campaign and after his election victory U.S. President Barack Obama advocated taking the U.S. and leading the international community in a different direction then his predecessor George Bush.

His predecessor George Bush had lead the U.S. into war based on a lie, advocated torture an international crime, circumvented international law by creating Guantanamo base, violated U.S. law and civil rights in the name of protection, made extensive use of fear for political gain and support, and advocated economic policies that lead to the U.S. economic collapse and in my personal opinion were also a fraud.

The rhetoric was based on ignorance, conflict, and war.

What has Barack Obama accomplished so far to deserve this award?

As he had advocated before his election victory, and after, U.S. President Barack Obama has engaged the international community in a completely different direction from isolationism, towards strong international leadership. Even the most unexpected world leaders respect and speak well of him.

An example of the strength of his approach and leadership is made obvious in his dealings with Iran. U.S. President Obama not only acquired the strong support from traditional allies with his dealings with Iran but also from Russia and China. Thanks to his leadership and new direction, the U.S. and Iran, for the time being, are currently on a different path.

Barack Obama has been very outspoken against nuclear proliferation.

In terms of economic global leadership many may have already forgot the fear that we witnessed on wall street when the U.S. came close to a complete financial meltdown lead by his predecessor’s economic policies. The U.S. economy has been stabilized and rescued by the Obama administration and the stock market, a leading economic indicator, has gained over 3000 points since its collapse.

The question I ask myself is not whether Barack Obama deserves this Nobel Peace Prize but whether he will win more that are based on the environment and science. Here are the examples of what I mean.

Environment

Unlike his predecessor who was in the oil business and profited from the use of oil that results in global warming and is literally destroying our planet, and could even threaten the human species; President Obama has made green energy and alternative energy a vital component in the U.S. economic prosperity plan.

Science

Unlike his predecessor who was against intellectual and scientific research such as stem cell research, the Obama administration has already begun sponsoring scientific research. Here are some examples of the potential of stem cell research. Stem cell research not only has the potential of curing diseases but may also be used to repair body parts or even grow new body parts such as a heart. Stem cell research is probably part of the key or solution to longevity and even immortality.

When Barack Obama wins the United States wins, and I hope he keeps on winning.

For those who like military applications or blowing things up, U.S. President Barack Obama is the first President to bomb a celestial body, the moon. The bomb was in the name of science to see if the moon contained any water. So you can put that in your first outer space military history book.

I wonder what the F-01 Space Interceptor will look like.

There's plenty of material and space in outer space, so we are not going to run out of room any time soon, and we have the seeds of life.

so let's not waste our chance.

Yes the U.S. bombed the moon, the first of its kind outer space bomb. The resulting explosion was 6 miles high if I remember correctly.

The thing to remember about this first outer space bomb is that it was not out of hatred or war, it was for science and research, possible other future projects so that distinction is also very important, and this is possibly another very good reason for a Nobel Peace Prize.

Congratulations again USA for putting a dimple on the moon.

President Barack Obama deserves a Nobel Peace Prize for bombing the first large celestial body in the name of science, and possibly for the birth of the space large celestial, planets and moons, being colonized by the Humans Race age.

Obama and U.S. may win more Nobel Prizes | Report to Admin

Maybe Obama will win another Nobel Peace Prize based on Civil Rights too.

Gay and Civil Rights; The state shouldn't discriminate and as for religion, you're free to choose your religion.

Spock was a half-bread. Would his parents been able to marry under current U.S. laws? It's not the bible man and women definition, it's women or man and alien from outer space definition.

It's a funny sci-fi question. The laws are not appropriate at this time and don't seem to be appropriate in future sci-fi scenarios that we have watched and seen several times in movies and TV either.

Some Republican wacko's will start using bestiality and incest as arguments, in fact I think some have already done this. It's an attempt to use ...you guessed it, fear and ignorance or just an example of how twisted their minds are.

Just a reminder for Republicans who didn't know this, there are laws against bestiality and incest, and it's far from the issue, but the attempt to use this kind of argument shows a new low and I hope they lose even more votes for trying to use it or trying to smear the gay community this way.
