As an ardent supporter of Barack Obama, I have to admit, I've been increasingly amused when I hear somebody ask the question in my title above, in an obviously shallow and condescending tone. Well, after I stop laughing I look them dead in the eye and say, "you're kidding right?"
When it comes to Senator Barack Obama, his campaign and his White House, how do I say CHANGE? Let me count the ways.
CHANGE = Over 1.8 million donors
CHANGE = Average contribution of $88.00
CHANGE = NO campaign contributions accepted from federal registered lobbyists or PACs
CHANGE = Political rallies attracting crowds of 75,000
CHANGE = Campaign offices in all 50 states
CHANGE = An unprecedented Get Out the Vote effort that has registered tens of thousands of new Democrats
CHANGE = A President that was higher than 5th from the bottom in his graduating class in college
CHANGE = A President who will not mangle the English language
CHANGE = A President who will tell us the TRUTH
CHANGE = Tax cut for the MIDDLE CLASS (finally)
CHANGE = Closing Guantanamo
CHANGE = Getting out of Iraq
CHANGE = "Getting" Osama bin Laden
CHANGE = Restoring Habeas Corpus
CHANGE = Access to quality healthcare for all
CHANGE = Hundreds of thousands of new jobs in the energy & infrastructure sectors
CHANGE = All major policies negotiated in the open with input from the American people
CHANGE = Oh yeah, did I mention he's Bi-Racial, young, handsome, highly intelligent, honest and a devoted family man? When was the last time we had one of those running for President?
Change? You betcha!

Thanks for the post. If I was going to try to make the same point, I probably would have used at least a thousand words to convey the idea.
You expressed the point in a simple, easy, and quick to read manner.
