I've been semi-comforting myself by saying that it doesn't matter whether Obama or Clinton is the nominee because they will both vote for FISA, but Obama voted yes and Cinton voted NO. I can no longer feel sure we have selected the right nominee. Very sad day. Integrity has suffered a major blow.

Voting for FISA, when you made it CLEAR how you all feel, was actually potentially POLITICAL SUICIDE!!!! That's not politically motivated, imo. I believe him when he says this is the best version of the bill that can be passed for now. He will FIGHT to strip immunity as President, and he already STARTED fighting today. He voted AGAINST immunity in the Senate.
I think you should take your time to consider all this.

He can't strip immunity after he becomes president. The damage will be done then. It's over. He was misinformed and painted himself into a corner where he could NOT change his mind. Terrible judgment, no integrity, sad day.

I know what you mean. Perhaps the Democratic candidates are more alike than we thought. At least we knew what we were getting with Hilary: politics as usual, while sometimes doing the right thing. With Obama, I am not certain what we are getting. Ah well, at least he's is better than McCain.

Senator Clinton changed her vote once she saw it was going down to defeat - she's done it before

You don't know that, but even if you did, what prevented Obama from doing the same? He couldn't strap on a pair and do the right thing?
