Oh my God people, what is going on. I just heard about another family being destroyed by apparent hopelessness. Its bad but not that bad. Those poor children had everything to live for. If you or anyone you know is going through some hard times, please, please, please take the time to reach out. Don't be so prideful or selfish not to ask for help. We are all in this together. You are all my brothers and sisters and I care about you. We are all neighbors and friends, you are not alone. When you suffer we all suffer but we do it together. We may fall together but we will rise together as well.
I have been through some very hard times in my life and when I was at my lowest was when I felt all alone with no one to turn to. I felt trapped, hopeless and lost. When I was at that point when all hope was lost was when a friend asked me one day how I was doing. I lied and said everything was great, but he pressed me saying he didn't believe that. When I let go of my pride and started to open up to him about my situation, I felt a large weight was lifted from my shoulders. I didn't need to feel ashamed of myself for how things were going, sometimes things just happen and even though I couldn't see a way out, my friend could. He gave me some advise and offered me some part time work to help me get through this rough time I was going through. I was a janitor for 6 months, but through one small step at a time I pulled my life together until I felt happy again about myself. It took some time, but afterwords I felt much stronger and more capable of dealing with life's problems.
If I could offer any advise to others that may be feeling the same is, don't hide how you feel. If things are going bad tell someone. People care a lot more then you think and they may see things that will help you out of your situation that you can't see. Let go of your pride and talk about it. It might just be the best thing you can do.
