According to the CNN Election Tracker 68% of Idaho voters would vote for McCain if the election were held today. That's higher than any other state in the union including Utah, Texas and McCain's home state of Arizona! Given most of you are republican, I understand it's hard to vote against the same team you have voted for time and time again. However this time the “home team” has let you down.
Last presidential election you wanted to give Bush and the republicans a second chance. I can understand that. After a high point in the administration around 9/11 it seemed possible that maybe republican leadership could get back on track. You and a small majority of the country felt the same way. With the second chance, the president and his followers kinda messed things up. Let's not give them a third chance. Let's try something new.
The path the country is on right now is the wrong path. Let's work together to get our international respect back. Let's work together on a responsible energy plan that will create jobs and minimize dependence. Let's work together to get the economy back on track. Let's work together, a united Northwest, to elect Obama, the candidate that will get the country moving in the right direction.
