Why do we attack the one man who treats the American People as part of a larger American Family?

I am puzzled on this July 4th holiday as to why the media attacks the one candidate who chose to celebrate a precious holiday that is only practiced and understood by the American people as a Family and Friends day in which we reflect on the sacrifices that were made to make the United States of America a realization. On this precious July 4th Senator Obama chose to celebrate amongst all of us. In particular, with the kind folk of Montana including his family, it is his daughter's birthday, with the larger American Family that is trying so hard to make ends meet during difficult Patriotic and Economic times.
He even has the courage to say that as President of the United States he will not only bring the war in Iraq to an end but will do so utilizing all of the expertise and information one expects the Commander and Chief to have at his disposal and should rightfully act within and coalesce this information with his vision to bringing as many of our loved ones home as quickly as possible and end an ill conceived and poorly executed American policy agenda in the Middle East within the first two years of his term.
Furthermore, he is looking to create a new forum in which Diplomatic interests can and should be explored and expanded upon. He shared his family time with all of us: Me, You, and the average Family over a barbeque. I do not know about how my neighbor feels but I, for one, am grateful that Senator Obama continues to create constructive dialogue with people like me throughout the country in order to understand, in an intimate way, our concerns and hopes for our children and elder family members. Senator McCain chooses to plot Republican strategy with advisers at his Wife's Arizona compound. Is it me or is the contrast just to glaring to be mute about?
To not care that Senator Obama chooses to be with the people he would represent when he is elected President on this precious holiday contrasts so sharply with Senator McCain's Imperialistic approach towards the common American family. Sadly, these are once again the actions that have become commonplace in a Political Party I had supported my whole life, the Republican Party. Senator McCain is showing that he is just another carbon copy Republican Presidential Elect.
Enough is enough. I will vote for the man who cares about the people in a part of the country that are just as important as the people in my own backyard. Montana is not a huge swing state, three humble yet important electoral votes, but a state that deserves to count as part of the larger American Family not ignored or taken for granted as a "red" state. As Senator Obama has said over and over:'We are not a nation of 'Red' states, we are not a nation of 'Blue' states we are the United States of America" and all should be heard and invited into the dialogue of what is best for all Americans - not just a select few who get heard because of the size of their wallets. Money from large corporate and wealthy persons that do not care where we live or what our concerns are. They only care about what will make them more powerful and wealthy.
Let us unite, and yes reach deep, to help elect the one Senator, Senator Barack Obama, who on this special American holiday chose to continue to reach out so that he can be as informed as possible when he is President to tackle the challenges we all face; hand in hand, shoulder to shoulder, united as Americans. An America filled with people that know being American requires that we care. Care enough to make living in America a land of true opportunity for all of Her Brothers and Sisters, Mothers and Fathers, Sons and Daughters. Care about the future so much that we are involved in the great American experiment and will not let the hope that this experiment has spawned fail an earth in need of so much care, love, and leadership.
