Friends As a way of showing our support for the democratic process without alienating many of the party leaders nationwide, we have created a petition asking the Super Delegates to honor the voices of the people by honoring the votes of the people. Please share this online petition with friends and family far and wide.
We intend to show a strong support for democracy without putting the Super Delegates on the defensive. One thing that is clear, most Super Delegates do not want to be put in a situation where they have to choose our party nominee. With this petition we can give them the confidence to step back and defer to the voices of the millions of Democratic voters who cast votes in primaries and attended caucuses in the past few months. Lastly, the campaign has asked its supporters not to contact the Super Delegates. While we are honoring their wish and encourage all of you to do the same, we do strongly believe that we need to build support for honoring the voices of the voters.
