If so, why did John McCain oppose the new GI Bill? This legislation provides access to higher education for our veterans and their families. Barack Obama understands this and supported this landmark legislation and is dedicated to ensuring its full implementation. Unfortunately even now the Bush-McCain team is working to undermine this law by poor management and leaving it to contractors instead of VA education specialists to administer
