Following is text from an e-mail exchange between myself and some members of the Colorado for Obama group, and also the text of a letter I sent to our secretary of state. He knows he's being watched!

Following is the text of an e-mail I sent to Coffman's office on Tueday; the e-mail address for the SOS is included in the text of the e-mail.

Subject: Voter and registration fraud in Colorado

Dear Mr. Coffman,

I am very concerned about voter and registration fraud in Colorado.

I am an election judge in Adams County and have some knowledge about the voter registration process and voting guidelines. I have participated in non-partisan voter registration drives. I was quite dismayed to discover that HAVA is little more than a smokescreen regarding the rights of voters, primarily created by republicans such as Jack Abramoff and Bob Ney, both of whom have served or are currently serving prison sentences for criminal ethics violations, including bribery and corruption. Unless you would like to join them, I suggest you not follow their lead in suppressing voters, particularly minority voters (Latinos and African-Americans). ;

I have notified everyone I know that they have sacrosanct rights to vote, and to assert their rights before, during, and after the upcoming general election. I have done everything I can to educate myself about voter fraud and how to prevent it, as have thousands of my fellow political volunteers. Surely you must know that the people of this state will hold you and only you ultimately accountable for any occurrences of voter fraud in the state of Colorado. You are now and will remain under close scrutiny until I and every citizen in this state is assured that a just and legal election has occurred in Colorado.

I am especially concerned about the recent voter purge in Colorado. I can assure you that I will do EVERY THING within my power as a citizen AND an election judge to ensure that EVERYONE who is registered to vote in their county will be allowed to vote, regardless of what your office has on record.

Surely you frequently remind yourself that you are an elected official, and as such, you are employed by me and every other citizen of this state to truthfully and lawfully enforce appropriate voter participation in each election. I am concerned about your recent actions and comments, and can assure you that I will do what I can to make sure each and every voter is allowed to vote, and each and every vote is counted, and that you are held accountable for any voting irregularities that occur in the state of Colorado.
