MONDAY PRAYER

Dear Lord,

Please protect President Obama from the arrows of criticism that we see every day. Dear Lord, I know that you have the power to shield him from the outright racism that we see in the press every day. And I know that you hate the sin, but love the sinner. So please, Lord, let those who shout out against Barack and Michelle learn to admire the First couple, and let them experience the joy of seeing an amazing president in action. Open their hearts, Lord, to the wonder of being alive in the era of a great leader, and to understand that President Obama uses Jesus' teachings every day - that of shaking an enemy's hand, Lord, and not striking him down.

Oh, Lord! I wonder daily at your works! At your beautiful planet, which Barack is fighting to preserve, at your teachings of love and wisdom, at your gifts of friendship and prayer, and at your power, ever stronger. May it grow to be ever stronger in my life and in all men's lives as well.

"Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you."

Dear Lord,

I stand with sister Michele and OPT praying for our President Barack and his administration. Lord, please deflect all of the fiery darts and verbal attacks that those who oppose him are hurling every day. With every attack open the eyes of every American to the truth and let the support of the changes that are occuring grow stronger. Keep Obama's eyes focused on you and the goals for our country. Please, let no weapon formed against this administration prosper. Bless us Lord, Bless us indeed!
