Eric Schmidt, the CEO of Google, was in Charlottesville and Richmond today discussing Senator Obama's technology policies. He spoke about Barack's plans to grow the economy by investing in new infrastructure and new technologies, and about Barack's impressive commitment to forward-thinking tech policies including net neutrality.

He also discussed the way Barack has revolutionized the use of the Internet in campaigning, and of the potential to do the same for government.

Schmidt emphasized that with only four days left, we need to continue to utilize the technology that has brought us all together.

Experience | Report to Admin

The McCain/palin ticket has been pushing and emphasizing experience as their advantage over Senator Obama. But if you come to think of it, although experience counts, who among everybody INCUMBENT, has the most experience, having both administrarive, legislative experience?? The answer is so simple .... George W. Bush ... and yet where has all this experience brought us??? For starters, economic catastrophe, failed foreign policies and tarnished leadership and image internationally ... The Presidency is about making the right decisions, which Senator Obama has. He had the foresight that invading Iraq was the wrong decision. It is about being able to run a well-oiled machinery; an organization just like his campaign which has catapulted him from a promising politician to a future President defeating an institution in Sen. Hilary Clinton. That alone speaks volumes in Sen Obama's organizational prowess. Not to mention that against Sen. McCain he has captured and invaded traditional Republican strongholds for the upcoming Presidential elections. The Presidency is also about piecking the right people to surround you and lead them to run our country. It is very obvious and apparent that Sen. Obama has effectively surrounded himself with the best people. It shows in how he defeated Sen. Hilary Clinton and how he had managed to "whether the storm", despite all the negative attacks of the other party. Everytime I indulge in a friendly political conversation with McCain diehards about his so-called edge in "experience", they almost always shut-up and in a loss of a rebutall when I throw back to them, that President Bush has the most experience but where has he led this great nation with that experience. Unfortunately, even the third-grader whos asked Gov. Palin the question on what the role of the Vice-President is, knows exactly what direction that so-called experience has done to our country. God bless America and may God bless Sen, Obama and his dedicated and competent organization behind him.
