I can't believe the convention is here! It seems like it was just yesterday that we held the Ohio Primary, and a week or two ago that Senator Obama announced his candidacy.

I am so grateful to all of you who have volunteered your time and energy. I was very active from the beginning to the Primary, but have been MIA since the primary. I miss everybody! I was able to volunteer at the Jazz & Rib Fest and hope to participate more before the election, which will be here before we know it.

You guys ROCK!!

I am not politically active generally. But Mr. Obama is having a problm in OH. I just moved here and I see the change that needs 2 be made. He is a guy who took student loans, had to get child care for his family. He is a regular middle class guy like the majority of the folks I work with in Columbus. McCain is painting him as an international celeb who is out of touch. Mr. Obama needs to explain to the people of OH that He is the person most like the regular people of OH. Student loans and Day care, while Mr McCain cant even tell reporteres how many homes he owns without checking with his handlers. Mr McCain is the one who got divorced, took up with the rich trophy wife and has no idea what it means to have $4.00 per gal. gas. These are the values Mr. McCain has chosen war hero or not! If you dont change your strategy in OH you will not win this state. We can not afford 4 more years of failed policies but you MUST CONVINCE THE VOTER!!!! Please do something!! Welcome to Ohio! I guess you're finding out first hand why they call this a swing state. I'm originally from Michigan. Yes, they are painting Obama as an elite, rich, celebrity. Obama is NOT an elitist. He is well off, but only from his own struggles and hard work; he grew up middle class just like the rest of us. He is a celebrity BECAUSE of his politics - not in politics because of his celebrity.

Ohio is a very diverse state, you will find many different types of people here. We have lots of different types of areas, from the most liberal to the most conservative.

If it is meant to be, it is up to me. We ALL need to get out there, where our Obama gear everywhere we go, and TALK to people ALL the time.
