Our supporters have been ramping up their efforts as it gets down to the wire, pouring everything they’ve got into this campaign. In their drive to ensure that change comes to Washington, they have been unknowingly blowing past one milestone after another. Recently the 200,000th event was created on My.BarackObama since the campaign’s start. Just to give you some sense of how quickly this campaign is accelerating at the end, three weeks ago I wrote a blog post lauding the 150,000th event created on MyBO. You’ve created 50,000 new events since then.People are stepping up every day and taking leadership in this campaign, hosting phonebanks and canvasses. You’re organizing your own communities through the more than 27,000 MyBO groups you’ve created and showing that change truly does start at the grassroots level.Thank you for all that you’ve done. Barack wouldn’t be where he is without your hard work. However, we still have not reached the finish line. The last five days will be the most intense and important days of this entire campaign.
