There's alot of donating to do, particularly because of all the distractions of the moment.

We've got an Open Convention to help out with. We've got a DNC that needs to dramaticaly outraise the RNC. We've got a 50-state field organization to finance. We've got voter registration to help fund. And we need to remain the standard bearers of campaign fundraising. Sen. Clinton needs some financial help too.

(btw, not sure what kind of camera you have if you have one, but if you have a DSLR [if you're not sure, I can probably help out] try and take a point-and-shoot or a disposable instead. If the event I went to is any indication, they won't let you in with a DSLR.)

It feels nice to be back :)

I had to sign off on Saturday because I had to send my laptop into the shop (I just bought the thing, and EVERYTHING was wrong with it:

SD card slot didn't work
Splotch of dead pixels in the screen
One of the bulbs that lights the screen blew
The battery outright DIED
and, the port into which I plugged the AC cord on my laptop was busted

But, Obamaland saved the day (to say the least; you probably heard the story) and I now have a brand new Mac, so....I'm back :D

I see it as well. We all need to pray without ceasing. The powers that love lies and violence are fighting mad. However the weapons we fight with are able to withstand any assault. They are not of this world and have no limitations. He will be fine. The girls and Michelle and Barack were just lovely during the interview. It is amazing what people will focus on when they see a healthy family full of love and affection. It is hard for some. We must keep our eyes on the prize!

I like that....you know... I always so many times think a "higher power "will put someone in front of us for a reason and a time. Maybe it wouldn't be someone you image.. Many may resist....but never the less they are there. In my 50 years I have never seen a candidate get attacked like this from all sides, on basically a endless loop to go along with the smear emails that began the minute he announced his candidacy, if not sooner. What did he ever do that was so terrible to deserve this kind of abuse? It's a rhetorical question so please don't start flaming me with FISA. I'm disappointed with it too but I still trust that President Obama will do the right thing and re-visit this issue.

I am sure a lot of folks have an issue with Obama's stance on FISA. But, take a step back and examine his approach a bit closer. The real issue is a tactical versus strategic decision. Tactics are about what to do now, they are small scale actions with the larger goal in sight. Strategy is about the long haul. It is the big picture. A yes vote removes crticism that can possibly harm his chances of election. So as a tactical decision it goes against principle, but otherwise it could be game over. McCain isn't going to sign a bill protecting our civil rights and the dems won't have 60 votes to over ride a veto.

Now strategically thinking, Barack will be in office in 6 months with a strong democratic mandate behind him. Do you think he will hoard executive power like W? I think not. My guess is that this law will be revisited and righted.

You can cede (or lose) a battle and win the war.

As my good Texan friend would suggest "Remember the Alamo"

Keep your eyes on the prize

don't give up on the issue, just get the right people in office and get the job done.

Big picture is what I keep saying. One vote does not a president make.
I came over to Obama after Hillary lost but I wasn't crushed because I know he is a candidate I can get behind. I think it's amazing that the Dems put up 3 candidates in the primaries that are fantastic people. I liked Hillary, Barack and John Edwards. Caucus day was a nightmare for me.
I'll tell you what, though, the more I listen to and watch Barack, the more I believe in him.
If he feels the burden is too heavy, I'll share it with him. I'm doing my best to help him get to the White House, walking and talking myself crazy!

We are so disappointed at the castrated Democrats who voted for this disastrous bill, unfortunately, including Senator Obama. I have been an avid suppoter of him because of his standing on issues, regardless of their political implications, remember the gas tax gimmicks. I donated the maximum, made calls on his behalf and blogged forever for him attacking Senator Clinton and her supporters for their standings, but unfortunately he disppointed me on multiple issues, including the Jerusalem issue, the death penalty, but the final straw was the FISA vote. and to make the matter more painful, Senator Clinton, who I opposed previously, happen to vote against this bill. What a travesty. I will probably still vote for him but I will not go beyond that anymore, as long as he is acting as a politician, especially with something as vital as civil liberties

People seem to forget that there is such a thing as winning a battle but losing the war. Some of us are so out of sorts with the FISA thing that we are missing the big picture. Had Obama voted NO on FISA, he would have been painted as being soft on terror and that is a narrative that he could not allow the GOP to write. And believe me that label would have stuck because the press would have beaten it to death. By voting Yes, he effectively removed some ammunition from the right. That was a calculated move. When he becomes President, that amendment could be repealed.

Senator Obama is getting attacked from all sides because so many people do not understand his purpose for campaigning and many are threaten by the fact some groups will lose power held by them for so long.

First, Senator Obama is campaigning to represent all people of this country by addressing issues common to all of us and making decision in the best interest of Americans. He is objectively taking positions and making decisions that are truly in the best interest of this country. The FISA Bill voted today increases oversight of wire taps by the FISA Courts and gives the next POTUS to opportuntiy to pursue criminal charges against the Telecoms and Former Government Officials. It may not be the best bill, but it still allows the Government to take steps to prevent Terrorist attacks. Anybody who has study Senator Obama's positions over the last eight years know that his positions have not changed regarding gun control, death penalty and etc.

People like civil rights activists, i.e. Jesse Jackson, certain donors who could influence, Conservatives and others know that if Senator Obama wins it will be the American people and not the special interest groups influencing the decisions in Washington. People who have made a living by dividing us with hate, benefited from tax cuts and favorable rulings by the current administration and increased their wealth from a free trade agreement that put so many Americans at a disadvantage and out of jobs are threaten by the changes being proposed which will help enhance the lives of so many who have suffered and force the top 2% to sacrifice a little of their wealth through a tax increase.

I am simply amazed at how many pundits and the aforementioned people who seem to be oblivious to the fact that this country is in a crisis and it is time to put aside the character assassination, old politics and spin. It is time to elect a leader with vision, solid judgement, character and integrity who can inspire a nation to unite and lift this country out of a crisis to build a better nation for future generations.

Personally, I will not lose focus and will support Senator Obama who is the best candidate to lead us through this crisis.

Yes, I know that many people legitimately disagree with Obama's FISA vote...But the people coming here (mostly with no profile) claiming that they were Obama supporters, but now are on the fence or not voting for him are NOT REAL...They are trolls - from McCain's campaign, Hillaryis44.org, etc...

We supported Obama before you ever came to this blog, so stop your criticism of people complaining about FISA. We are so disappointed at the castrated Democrats who voted for this disastrous bill, unfortunately, including Senator Obama. I have been an avid suppoter of him because of his standing on issues, regardless of their political implications, remember the gas tax gimmicks. I donated the maximum, made calls on his behalf and blogged forever for him attacking Senator Clinton and her supporters for their standings, but unfortunately he disppointed me on multiple issues, including the Jerusalem issue, the death penalty, but the final straw was the FISA vote. and to make the matter more painful, Senator Clinton, who I opposed previously, happen to vote against this bill. What a travesty. I will probably still vote for him but I will not go beyond that anymore, as long as he is acting as a politician, especially with something as vital as civil liberties

I know I haven't been on here for a while (this place has become toxic lately), but while the algae is at a low level today, I figured I'd show love to my O' Family!

I have a theory about the media's disgraceful attempt at painting the Obamas' family interview, as anything other than heart-warming.

They are jealous.

They are jealous of the beauty that the Obamas represent as a family unit, they are jealous at the integrity and dignity that Barack possesses, even when they are trying to drag him to their subversive, pathetic level, and they are jealous that this unknown Black kid from a broken home, with an average background will in a few short months, be THEIR BOSS!

They (MSM, racists, bigots, ignorami) cringe at the thought of calling Barack Obama, "Mr. President" or referring to him as their "Commander-in-Chief". So therefore these overpaid, racist low-lives are doing their BEST to destroy him. They couldn's successfully paint him as a a Muslim jihadist sympathizer, so they tried to paint him as "elite". They didn't succeed at painting him as elite, so they tried to paint him as a militant, angry Black man who will enslave all White people and give reparations to every single Black person in America. That attempt failed, so they tried to paint him as a sexist pig, who relished in defeating HRC. That failed miserably, so when Barack Obama appeared on Access Hollywood with his gorgeous, supermodel of a wife, and his two angelic, unbelievably cuddly daughters, the MSM bigwigs HAD IT!!!

This man is the real deal!!! They hate Barack Obama, and they hate US (his devoted supporters, who are staying with him through good times AND bad!!!). They even tried to use US against him, with the stupid trollish FISA chicken littles flooding the boards. I had never seen 80% of those bloggers when we were crying over Rev. Wright, and had to be strong for Barack, Michelle, and eachother. But they came out in SWARMS to tear Barack down!

Just F_ING vote for McCain/Barr/Nader since Barack can't please all of you all the time!!!

They are now trying to use the Jesse Jackson quote to bring up that Obama is an "elitist" again and is talking down to African-Americans.

4 weeks ago Obama was an "elitist" who could not get the "Blue Collar Hard Working Vote".

I truly believe this election will never be about the issues because the MSM and the GOP will always make it personal.

This will backfire and we just have to ride out this wave of personal attacks.

I think all we are going to see is a recycling of the same attack that happened in the primaries but this time it will be the GOP instead of Hillary.

It is because CNN,MSNBC,Fox Spews considers Access Hollywood a video version the the National Enquirer and just got beat to the punch for an exclusive interview of the entire Obama Family.

Yeah, I watched Dan Abrams tonight...it was good. Those certainly are the sweetest kids! I believe that Barack regretted allowing the interview, not because of the interview itself...it was sooo precious...but because of how it was being dissected and criticized by the jealous losers who didn't get the huge "get" of doing it themselves.

I've only taken one trip through the deep south and it was definitely an interesting experience. What I found fascinating was not only the different accents across LA, MS, AL, FL panhandle but also the cadence. It was either lightning fast or molasses slow like you wanted to pull the words out for them.

I do have to say that all the people we met in Louisiana were so friendly. But they do have some strong kind of coffee down there, whew!

I've been to Europe a lot in the last 6 years and the only time people outwardly laughed about America was when I was in Paris right after Cheney shot his friend with buckshot. Most of the time they are eager to talk politics with me and are very knowledgeable on American government. Of course, I always start off with, "I didn't vote for the idiot..." maybe that helps!

We KNOW why Obama voted for FISA... because McCain and the ROVIAN REPUBLICANS are planning a terrorist attack against the country a few days before the election. McCain said so... He said he expects to win in the final 48 hours... and Charlie Black said that another terrorist attack would be good for McCain... ergo.. I guess they are planning another attack... I'm not so sure they didn't plan the first one. SOOOOOOOO, if Obama had said NO to FISA, then they would blame the whole thing on him. He said yes, now who will they blame but themselves? If there is an attack now (conducted by those evil bastards) they can't blame Obama, they will have to step up and take responsibility since they are in charge. SO, why bother creating a terrorist attack if they can't blame it on Obama... SO Obama has just saved a lot of lives. I live in NYC.. so he might have saved mine... I'm sure they would attack us again... We are, after all a BLUE STATE. They wouldn't want to kill their own little small minded RED VOTERS like you.

We supported Obama before you ever came to this blog, so stop your criticism of people complaining about FISA. We are so disappointed at the castrated Democrats who voted for this disastrous bill, unfortunately, including Senator Obama. I have been an avid suppoter of him because of his standing on issues, regardless of their political implications, remember the gas tax gimmicks. I donated the maximum, made calls on his behalf and blogged forever for him attacking Senator Clinton and her supporters for their standings, but unfortunately he disppointed me on multiple issues, including the Jerusalem issue, the death penalty, but the final straw was the FISA vote. and to make the matter more painful, Senator Clinton, who I opposed previously, happen to vote against this bill. What a travesty. I will probably still vote for him but I will not go beyond that anymore, as long as he is acting as a politician, especially with something as vital as civil liberties

"Folks, if you think FISA is the last bastion of the Fourth Amendment, I have bad news for you. If FISA is indeed the last bastion, the Fourth Amendment is already gone. The current bill will not fix the problem, no matter whether telecoms are given the affirmative defense of acting under color of law. The problem exists in the USA PATRIOT Act, not in FISA."

"Your constitutional rights exist only so long as you or your lawyer can challenge their violation in court. If FISA is the last bastion of the Fourth Amendment, the Fourth Amendment is already a dead letter.

In terms of constitutional safeguards, the current FISA bill is a non-issue. Yes, it allows telecoms to raise "color of law" immunity as an affirmative, threshhold defense. And yes, that means the telecoms very likely will never be held to account for violations of FISA. But the secrecy of FISA warrants themselves voids the Fourth Amendment, if information gained from those warrants can be used in a criminal trial.

I'm convinced that Barack Obama recognizes this. I'm sure he recognizes that this bill is a classic political bait-and-switch, wrapping telecom immunity in the mantle of "safeguarding our constitutional rights," when in fact those rights are already voided by use of secret, non-reviewable FISA warrants to gather information for criminal cases. I'm sure Barack Obama realizes that this petty knoll is not "the hill to die on."

"The hill to die on" is the USAPA's breaking down the wall of separation between intelligence-gathering and criminal investigation. And that is not even at issue yet. We'll need a Democratic president, and at least 60 Democratic senators, to fight that battle.

So please, folks, let's keep this bill in context. If you're counting on FISA to safeguard your Fourth Amendment rights ... they're already gone."

I'm a criminal defense attorney. I'm in Court almost everyday. Some days, I just sit in court and watch and listen. And sometimes, I watch while indigent, uneducated people stand before a judge, while a prosecutor and officer fumble around to convict this person, after the officer flubbed and messed up on various procedural and evidentiary issues.

These 4th Amendment lovers have no idea what is really going on. There are laws. There are safeguards. But crooked people will find ways around the law, so long as the will is there go around the law. No FISA bill will restore that. No re-dedication for the 4th will matter. Crooked people have seeped into our system, and as long as they remain, nothing will stop them from defying the law. This is not being cynical. This is being real.

Tricknology. People think they know what going on, and while they're fighting this FISA battle - the big issues are lost. With or without FISA, Bush and co. will continue to listen to your phone calls, and nothing we can do right now, except get him and his folks the hell out of there, can change that.

As far as her credit card bill i could work all of my life and over time and never make that as a salary. Hell, their daughters $50,000 credit card bill does not even come close to my annual salary.

He's stumbling and bumbling with his crazy talk excess.

It's so obvious the media is befriending McBush for their ratings, for their fear of a Democratic presidency, whatever the case.

We gotta make our voices heard loud and clear in every way that we can that we cannot afford four more years of Bush economics, Bush foreign policy, Bush's my way or the highway, the good 'ol boy network.

I would like to take a moment to thank Sen. Obama. He allows me to come to his site and express my opinion. Even when I don't agree with his view or how he represented me today.

I would also like to add to those of you that are angry about the negative posts that while it might not seem like it at first. It is very needed. Barack needs to know that alot of people that still support him, didn't like the way he voted today.

People expressing disagreement with our government is what makes it strong. Our government allowing this expression is what makes The United States of America free. My father was a Korean vet. He and others put it on the line so that I can live in a country that is free.

Other countries do not share this joy.

So the next time someone comes here and expresses themselves, please remember...

Barack Obama said that he knew it would be a deal breaker for some. And let them have their voice, because Barack let's them have it. They are not trolls.

I will be the first in line and have been when people came here over Rev. Wright, Clinging to guns and religion. That nice little man that used to come online and compare Obama and osama. That is much different. Issues and non-issues.

But we live in a country that allows disagreement. Thank god.

I just get really upset when posters come here and say that, just because of Barack's vote on FISA, they are not longer voting for him.

I say really? You'll vote for more war, losing the Supreme Court and women's rights, privatizing Social Security, catering to the rich and more because of this.

We need to get back to basics and respond to all the negativity by donating, looking forward and trusting this campaign to continue doing an outstanding job. We are behind in Missouri now. How does the campaign respond? They're are opening 30 offices and putting 150 PAID staff into the state! (that takes money, folks) They're fighting for every inch. Contesting every state. We need to keep our eye on the prize. January 20, 2009. Organize. Register voters. and DONATE. DONATE. DONATE. Just my humble opinion.

What is Senator Obama to do?

He is beat up for being a uniter;
He is beat up for being humble;
He is beat up for being bold;

Just how many people does he have to cater to?

The MSM holds him accountable.

I think this election is showing a sad side of the United States of America…the side that says
It is OK to lie and redefine people in a way that is not true;
It is OK to twist the words of a man to fit the theme = “you’d better be scared of this man because we don’t know who he is”. WHO IS JOHN MCCAIN? I don’t know him and what I have heard about him as a man makes me sick.

I believe that Senator Obama is going to be our next president, but I am concerned about the way all these individuals, organizations and causes are trying to ‘blackmail’ him into doing what they want in order to get their vote.

Then there is John McCain who is the biggest joke running for president. I am a veteran and I am sick and tired of hearing about his POW experience. That was the past. That will not make him a good president. I believe if his record was really checked, he might not be the great hero everyone is trying to make him out to be. To me, he would have been a bigger hero if he had stayed with his WIFE when he came home from service instead of turning his back on her. That my friends, is judgment at its worst.

I don't wish to promote more "troll-calling" (which I think is largely pointless), but "Joanie" fits the profile (no pun intended) far more than you, Brian. A virtually empty profile (no reference to issues, no friends, recently created, etc), and her post would seem to suggest that supporters have a knee-jerk rejection of any challenge to Barack, even when it is as thoughtful and well-considered as yours, Brian. Such a post seems to strive to create the impression that Obama supporters are mere automatons. Such a post serves the interest of those hostile to our campaign, whereas yours (Brian) is a credit to it.

And for me, it's just not about the issues with Barack. I just have this feeling in my heart and gut that I trust him, I trust his judgment, his character, his morals, his values, that he has our best interests at heart. I know he's not God, that he's a politician. And I'll be let down at times, like some are being let down about FISA, but this time feels different. I think it's the empowerment that I'm feeling toward wanting to make my country better for its better, for the word, for the planet. Barack is empowering me to care like I never have before. Collectively, we can affect the changes that will make our lives better. We are our brothers and sisters keepers.

I am very distressed that Sen. Obama didn't lead the Democrats into finding out what they were really giving the telecoms immunity for.
I had great hopes that you would lead those spineless Congress people who, reguardless of their party, CAVED to this un-Constitutional Administration.
All I can wonder is what this Administration has found through it's wire-tapping that would cause all teses Congress people to provide immunity for the telecoms.
Mr Nacchio, before his untimely death, said that Qwest was approached to wire tap Americans long before 9-11.
How could you not find out what this immunity is really for?
I am totally disappointed in the spineless Democrats but also in you.
I am really hopeing for leadership for right!

Actually, it's Harry Reid's job to lead the Democrats in the Senate. As Senate Majority Leader he is the highest ranking party official in the Senate. He's the one who speaks for the party on official positions and issues and also speaks for the Senate as an institution. Working with the committee chairs and ranking members, the Reid schedules business on the floor by calling bills from the calendar and keeps members of his party advised about the daily legislative program.
So you see, Reid is the one who should have led the charge against FISA, not Obama, as he is considered a freshman senator.

Well, I'm just being selfish. :) I have seen so many images of Michelle wearing that purple dress from the end of the primaries, that I want to see her in another fabulous color. Plus, there aren't many images of Michelle, so the purple color and dress do stand out from other images used by the media.

While it is true that developing countries such as India and China will have to get on board to deal with the problem, I agree with their position that we must lead and take responsibility for the fact that we are the ones that have brought the planet to the brink of disaster. It will be necessary for us to radically reduce our consumption of fossil fuels and to develop new technology to make this possible. It will then be necessary that we share these developments or work together with China and India to solve the problem. If we continue to not take responsibility for our own personal and collective failure in this regard the fires will burn hotter, the hurricanes will be more intense and the tornadoes more frequent. The peak temperature in Sacramento is predicted to rise as much as 15 degrees in the next 30 years. This will put that peak between 125 and 130 degrees.

In order for us to fix this problem we will need to change both our technology and our life styles. It will not come from just one of the two. Those of us who live in California are the worst when it comes to driving as we all know. However, those of you who live in the East and MidWest are the largest consumers of coal. Coal is the worst of all fuel and any suggestion that clean-coal technology will solve the problems is incorrect. Coal is composed of carbon and burning coal will release carbon. Current notions of sequestration are untested and currently infeasible at levels necessary to deal with the problem.
We will need to be more efficient and we will need to produce better energy technology and we will need to reduce usage.

This is an issue that will require both leadership and efforts on each of our parts. Every time you drive that SUV or turn up the heat you are adding to the problem. Every time you ride your bike or improve the insulation in your home you are helping.

It is really hot today in Sacramento, the sky is smoky and the streets are filled with gas guzzling vehicles. Tomorrow ????

I dont think it was a set-up by Hillary Supporters,, I believe it was a set-up by the Repubs, but the Leadership got scared because of the Mainstream Media telling democrats that they should be mad about FISA without a real reason why, except that they should be mad. The leadership shoulda recognized the position that Obama was in and helped him out.. but instead they chose to cover their own a$$es. But the set up was absolutely by the Republicans because they wanted Obama to decide piss off somebody on whichever side, to exploit division by bundling what shoulda been 2 seperate bills together.

Yeah, Jesse is another one of those people Obama spoke about in his more perfect union speech. Jesse is a part of another era, and refuses to pass the torch or go quietly into the night. Do I agree that institutionalized racism still exist? Yes, but do I believe that every impoverished black person is in that condition because "the man" held them back? Hell No!

Jesse needs to learn that he is not doing our people any favors by telling them that their condition is somebody else's fault. Even Dr. King, when he was in church, told his congregants that the only people who can get them out of their condition was them. Congress can pass all the laws they want. What will you do once the equal rights law is passed?

This generation (those from about 35 and under) has no clue about what it means to be treated unfairly in comparison to the jim crow era. There is more access to information. Is life hard? Yes. Will it take a lot of work and diligence to succeed? Yes, but it will all be worth it.

My motto is for anybody who doesn't like me regardless of race, gender, culture, status is: The best revenge is success at your own hands!

That's what Jesse needs to be telling people. He and other civil rights leaders had to figure out a lot more than this generation, so what gives the youth today the nerve to believe that they are owed something for nothing?

Bill Cosby was right, Obama is right, and a lot of others who have told this generation to grow up are right.

We are so disappointed at the castrated Democrats who voted for this disastrous bill, unfortunately, including Senator Obama. Its important to let those disappointed fuel their steam, but I don't think its right to label some of them as trolls. For all we know some of those very dissenters or doubters might have staunch supporters who worked their asses off to get Obsma the Democratic nomination. And as for the Obama supporters who agree with Obama on this issue, don't label those people as trolls. It's these same type of behavoirs that Barack wants to change...instead of both sides, pro and con, tearing eachother at the throat we need to make the best of the situation. Cause the next day a dissenter maybe a supporter and a supporter turns dissetner.

For all we know some of those very dissenters or doubters might have staunch supporters who worked their asses off to get Obsma the Democratic nomination. And as for the Obama supporters who agree with Obama on this issue, don't label those people as trolls. It's these same type of behavoirs that Barack wants to change...instead of both sides, pro and con, tearing eachother at the throat we need to make the best of the situation. Cause the next day a dissenter maybe a supporter and a supporter turns dissetner.

If you truly don't feel like you can support Barack anymore fine; however, you can always comeback. Besides division is for fear loving republicans who want to see us fight amongest oursevles because they know that if we divde then our movement is nothing.

John McCain misrepresented Barack's stand on Iran and accused him of voting against a provocatiive, sabre-rattling piece of legislation when in truth, Barack had sponsored a bill to declare those manning the missiles today (the Iranian National Guard ) a terrorist organization. McCain also has lied by claiming that Barack would raise taxes. McCain's numbers on the economy do not add up at all - they would be laughable if they weren't so frighteningly inept.

But the worst part of today was watching McCain make a stupid joke about sending lots of cigarettes to Iran to kill them by having them smoke themselves to death..."maybe that's a way of killing Iranians"... Instead of seriously absorbing the content of the question that the reporter was asking him (basically the reporter was saying, aren't we sending mixed signals by exporting so much to Iran) he seemed oblivious.

Does anyone remember the soundbite back a year or so ago when John McCain sang "bomb Iran" to "Barbara Ann" - you know the song that goes bop,bop,bop,...bop,bop-aran, etc.?

McCain is irreverent while not seriously considering the opinions of those who question him. Some strange part of his personality seems to be arrogant in it's disregard for people....or for other people's opinions and concerns and worries. DOESN'T HE REMEMBER THE FACT THAT MUSLIMS RIOTED WHEN THERE WAS A CARTOON DRAWN OF MOHAMMED?

Barack Obama is very serious and even was concerned about the interview with his daughters as if it possibly might take the spotlight off of the issues - maybe too ancillary (of secondary importance or subordinate to) what he is trying to define and underscore.

When Barack is questioned he communicates his opinions in a respectful, cognitive ( having a basis in factual knowledge ), and informative manner with clarity and instruction. I am so impressed by his work ethic and his serious, studious approach and his application of such.

The quote from Jesse Jackson today shows a lack of discipline and good judgement. In contrast, Barack Obama has run a respectful,issue-oriented,grou ndbreaking,unifying,galvanizin g campaign. He has never stooped so low or showed the lack of discipline to attack or disrespect Hillary, for example.

THIS IS WHAT WE WANT - A LEADER WHO ACTUALLY LIVES THE GOOD EXAMPLE - HE IS SELF-CONFIDENT IN HIS APPROACH AND KNOWLEDGE. THEREFORE CRASS JOKES AND DISREPECTFUL BARBS ARE NON-EXISTENT. BARACK OBAMA SHOWS A REAL DESIRE TO HELP

We supported Obama before you ever came to this blog, so stop your criticism of people complaining about FISA. We are so disappointed at the castrated Democrats who voted for this disastrous bill, unfortunately, including Senator Obama. I have been an avid suppoter of him because of his standing on issues, regardless of their political implications, remember the gas tax gimmicks. I donated the maximum, made calls on his behalf and blogged forever for him attacking Senator Clinton and her supporters for their standings, but unfortunately he disppointed me on multiple issues, including the Jerusalem issue, the death penalty, but the final straw was the FISA vote. and to make the matter more painful, Senator Clinton, who I opposed previously, happen to vote against this bill. What a travesty. I will probably still vote for him but I will not go beyond that anymore, as long as he is acting as a politician, especially with something as vital as civil liberties

Greetings! Here's another round of recycling cans, bottles, plastics to raise funds for the Obama campaign; only this time it's for Labor Day Weekend.

There will be a lot of cans, bottles and plastics to retrieve from celebrations and parties during Labor Day weekend. Try to gather as much recycling materials as you can.

This is an Online/Internet event and you must RSVP to participate so that you can pledge and donate online.

Get a trash can, line it with plastic bags. Identify it for either cans, bottles, plastics. Take it to a Labor Day party or park where people are celebrating the holiday. Watch it fill up. Take your recycling collection to a recycling receptacle. Get paid. Donate online.

I have been a supporter since the beginning, but this vote for telecom immunity is tough to swallow...
